Chiral anomaly as a composite operator in the gradient flow exact renormalization group formalism

چکیده

The gradient flow exact renormalization group (GFERG) is an idea that incorporates gauge invariant flows into the formalism of (ERG). GFERG introduces a Wilson action with cutoff while keeping vector invariance manifestly. details are still to be worked out. In this paper, we apply construct massless Dirac fermions under background chiral fields. By formulating anomaly as ``composite operator,'' make scale manifest. We argue same result extends QCD.

Exact Renormalization Group Equation in Presence of Rescaling Anomaly

Wilson' s approach to renormalization group is reanalyzed for supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. Usual demonstration of exact renormalization group equation must be modified due to the presence of the so called Konishi anomaly under the rescaling of superfields. We carry out the explicit computation for N = 1 SUSY Yang-Mills theory with the simpler, gauge invariant regularization method, recentl...

On gradient flow in the Wilson renormalization group

It is shown that the Wilson renormalization group flow of couplings on the space of cutoff field theories, after subtracting two terms (to account for wavefunction renormalization at the cutoff scale and normal ordering of higher order interactions), is related by a particular negative definite matrix (the so-called Zamolodchikov ‘metric’) to the gradient of a positivedefinite function, in any ...

Exact Symmetries realized on the Renormalization Group Flow

We show that symmetries are preserved exactly along the (Wilsonian) renormalization group flow, though the IR cutoff deforms concrete forms of the transformations. For a gauge theory the cutoff dependent Ward-Takahashi identity is written as the master equation in the antifield formalism: one may read off the renormalized BRS transformation from the master equation. The Maxwell theory is studie...

Exact BRS Symmetry realized on the Renormalization Group Flow

Using the average action defined with a continuum analog of the block spin transformation, we show the presence of gauge symmetry along the Wilsonian renormalization group flow. As a reflection of the gauge symmetry, the average action satisfies the quantum master equation(QME). We show that the quantum part of the master equation is naturally understood once the measure contribution under the ...
